USM LSAMP has a history of serving the state of Maryland since 1995. Over the last five years the UMBC LSAMP has served over 400 students through a myriad of programmatic efforts. Upon graduating from UMBC, many LSAMP students go on to continue their academic journey in master’s and doctoral (PhD) programs nationally and abroad. Below is a glimpse of many of our research Fellows who presented their undergraduate research at the 2019 USM LSAMP Research Symposium.
